Children learn about acids and alkali’s and the pH scale. They use kitchen cupboard items to discover how to make a simple indicator potion! Wow moments make for memorable science – watch how children become completely absorbed with their scientific investigations in this workshop. Their potion will turn Red, Purple, Blue and Green depending upon the material it is mixed with. They undertake their own experiments using materials found in the classroom or in lunchboxes to answer the question “Is it Acid or Alkali?”.
