BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK 2026
Entries are still open until 1st July 2026 so CLICK HERE to enter our ‘Curiosity’ competition.
British Science Week 2026 celebrated the theme “Curiosity: What’s Your Question?”—a brilliant reminder that every great discovery begins with a simple moment of wonder. Children are naturally curious: they ask Why is the sky blue?, How do rockets fly?, Why do magnets stick? and What would happen if…? This year’s theme encourageed pupils to embrace those questions and see them as the starting point for exploration, investigation and discovery.
Our hands-on primary school science workshops are designed to turn that natural curiosity into meaningful learning. Through exciting experiments, surprising demonstrations and interactive challenges, pupils became young investigators—making predictions, testing ideas and discovering the science behind the world around them. Rather than simply being given answers, children were encouraged to explore their own questions, develop hypotheses and see what happens when they put their ideas to the test.
By combining exciting interactive experiments and plenty of opportunities for questioning and discussion, our workshops transform British Science Week into an unforgettable learning experience. Most importantly, they help children understand that science isn’t just about knowing the right answers—it’s about having the curiosity to ask the next question….!

British Science Week 2026 stirs energy, curiosity and discovery in the classroom, inspiring children to ask questions and explore the world around them. Our sessions help create a memorable, high-impact event built around the 2026 theme “Curiosity, What’s Your Question?”, transforming your celebrations into engaging experiences of investigation, creativity and hands-on learning that pupils will talk about long after the week has ended!
Our unique workshops are designed to spark curiosity and nurture a love of discovery through exciting experiments, interactive demonstrations and problem-solving challenges. Each session encourages pupils to ask their own questions and explore the answers through real scientific investigation. Covering key areas of the science, engineering and technology curriculum, our primary workshops connect directly to the Science Week theme by exploring the fascinating living things that share our planet, investigating animal life cycles and habitats, and examining how organisms grow and survive.
Children can also journey beyond Earth as we explore space, stars and planets, uncover the incredible systems of the human body, and experiment with engineering, forces and construction through creative building challenges. Every activity is designed to encourage questioning, experimentation and discovery—helping pupils understand that science begins with curiosity.
The result is a dynamic and unforgettable workshop day that perfectly complements your school’s Science Week celebrations while inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers and explorers.
